FOIA: The Freedom of Information Act was set up so that regular people like you and I could gain access to government information.

This includes information from police departments, to local government, to governors' offices.

Cost is to only cover the actual cost to retrieve the information and to get it to the person, requesting it. The fee is to be told, up front.

So, let's begin getting some of this information, and let's not back down until we have it. We either use this right or lose this right.
